RUBY ON THE ROSES

This world is full of timeless woes
Difficulties circumstance poses;
The thing that keeps me going
Is the Ruby on the Roses.

God made all creatures great and small
Hillsides where sheep do rest soft noses;
His Easter love surrounds us like a shroud
Like Ruby on the Roses.

Soon I shall go to worlds above
As the door of Eternity closes;
The thing that keeps me going--
Is God's Ruby on the Roses.

AN IRISH BLESSING

Bless the children this St.Patrick's Day
Bless them both young and old--
Children are the colorful Rainbow of life
Grandchildren--our precious Pot of Gold.
Bless their Irish impish grins and smiles
Bless them all within God's great fold---
Children are the rambunctious Rainbow of Life
Grandchildren--our precious Pot of Gold.
